Expansion brings quality talent from across the U.S.
In 2019, Five Star Call Centers was planning for a strategic move that would lay the groundwork for their next business endeavor: Work-from-home. That year, the company’s leadership team decided to move their Fargo, ND, team from the office to work-from-home. A move that proved to be successful for the business and the employees.
With the groundwork developed, Five Star Call Centers was already planning for an expanded work-from-program when the global pandemic hit. It’s that preparation that made moving hundreds of associates from in the office to their homes possible within just a few weeks.
“It was literally all-hands on deck when we made the decision to get as much of our staff possible working from home, “says Joel Sylvester, chief marketing officer at Five Star Call Centers. “Myself, my business partners, and our managers, were all buying boxes, packing up computer stations, and taken them to associates’ homes to get them set-up for work. It was a crazy time.”
A crazy time which has led to success for the company. Over a year in and Five Star Call Centers continues to grow their work-from-home program, which now includes employment opportunities in 10 states. And with plans to continue hire in additional states, the team looks forward to adding employment opportunities across the U.S.
“Work-from-home is really beneficial in multiple ways, “said Sylvester. “Employees are happy because they can cut the commute and save money and clients are happy because we’re bringing the best talent from across the U.S. to support their needs.”
