Five Star Call Centers to add Wichita as their fourth national market

A national search and a call from Mayor Jeff Longwell has led Five Star Call Centers to name Wichita as the site for its next facility. As Five Star Call Centers continues to see growth with their partners in financial services, hospitality, retail and product support verticals, they knew they needed to expand.

Headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD, Five Star Call Centers has found great success with facilities in South Dakota and North Dakota and wanted to expand into a new Midwest market for their next location. After looking at 50 different communities throughout the U.S., Five Star Call Centers decided on Wichita because of the availability of quality workforce and the real estate solutions with expansion capabilities.

Troy Holt, Chief Operating Officer of Five Star Call Centers, said, “We were really interested in Wichita, but when Mayor Jeff Longwell called me to say how much he wanted us there, while including what the community was willing to do to help, we couldn’t say no. We appreciate the support of the Greater Wichita Partnership and the Workforce Alliance and look forward to ongoing support as we get our new facility operational.”

Five Star Call Centers will begin operations in 10,000 square foot space at the Ruffin Building, 9100 E. Douglas, creating 150 full-time jobs this summer, with the opportunity to propagate to 200 to 300 agents over the next several months.

“Five Star Call Centers is excited about the expansion because it will allow us to continue to provide world-class customer service solutions to our partners across the United States as they continue to expand,” Joel Sylvester, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer of Five Star Call Centers stated, “Our partners are seeing the value in utilizing our team for their customer service needs.”

“We look forward to welcoming Five Star to Wichita and furthering the diverse mix of businesses which call our community home,” said Wichita Mayor Jeff Longwell. “When I spoke to Five Star, their passion for their employees and their industry was evident, and they will be a valued addition to our city.”

“Five Star Call Center has a great reputation for their customer service and we believe they will find Wichita an ideal location to grow their operation with a quality workforce,” said Andrew Nave, Executive Vice President of the Greater Wichita Partnership.

Five Star Call Centers will start the recruiting process for the center on July 10th, 2017 with the first training class on July 31st. The first calls will be coming into the Wichita center on August 7th. Applicants can apply at fivestarcallcenters.com/about/careers
